Why the clinic works the way it does

Three things about this practice are unusual, and none of them is an accident.

We open when other clinics close. Weekday evenings from half past six, and Saturdays. Nobody should have to take annual leave, or explain where they are going, to have a consultation about their face.

There is no shopfront. We treat from a private clinic room. There is no high-street window, no shared reception and no chance of running into somebody you know on the way in. The exact address is shared when your appointment is confirmed.

There are two of us, and that is the whole practice. No rotating injectors, no being handed to whoever is free. Continuity is not a luxury in aesthetics — it is how somebody notices that your face has changed since last time.

Jorge Teixeira

Founder & lead injector

Originally from Porto, Jorge trained as a nurse and spent fifteen years in NHS operating theatres and medical education before moving into aesthetics. Anatomy first, aesthetics second — a background in theatre practice and anaesthetics is an unusual route into this field, and it shapes how carefully he works.

He consults, plans and carries out every treatment himself. In what little spare time the clinic leaves him, he draws portraits, which is where the interest in facial proportion started.

Dr Badri

Prescribing doctor

Dr Badri assesses and prescribes every prescription-only medicine used at the clinic, and advises on patient pathways and safety. More than seven years in aesthetic medicine alongside his medical practice.

His involvement is not a formality. A prescriber on the team is the reason we can hold the reversal agent for filler complications on site, and the reason an off-label recommendation is made by somebody qualified to justify it.

How we practise

A consultation can end in no. If a treatment is not right for you, or the result you want is not achievable with what we do, we will say so. It costs you nothing and it costs us a booking.
Conservative first, always. It is easier to add at a review than to reverse. Dissolving filler has its own consequences.
No pressure, no countdowns. We do not run time-limited offers on injectable treatments.
Risks in writing, before you consent — and a number that a person answers if something concerns you afterwards.
18 and over only. It is a criminal offence in England to provide these treatments to under-18s for cosmetic purposes.
